To The Ladies of Rice!

Throughout the year it is my goal to update this blog with pictures and articles of the going-on's of my hall in Rice! I am soooooo excited to be an RA! I can't even begin to tell you all just how thrilled I am at having the opportunity to serve others in this new roll! I've never been an RA before so I have lot's to learn but I am eager to soak in all I can and in the process meet lots of new people!

I probably won't update this blog very much until school starts and I have pictures and what not to show you all of what I am up to so in the meantime I invite you read my personal blog which I update almost every day = ) you can find it's link here. Check back in August as the school year is starting for more updates!

Have a wonderful summer y'all! I cannot wait until school starts this fall! To God be the glory!

hall decorations...

Alright so since the secret's out I might as well make it official here on this page...

Yes, I will be decorating my hall using these three words as my theme;

Pink

Sparkly

Cowgirl

Buckle up! This is all I am going to say until my girls come back to school in August! I want the lovely ladies that I get to live with this next year to see the finished product first = ) and after everyone has moved in then I will post pictures but until then may I most humbly remind you that patience is a virtue and that I CANNOT wait to decorate my hall this year! YAHOOOO!

love you all,

I am going to be an RA!

I am going to be an RA! I just received my acceptance letter tonight! I am soooo excited! When I first thought about being an RA I was sure that they would never accept me in a million billion years!! And when I scheduled my interview for this position I was sure that the RE's and Housing Director would ask me hard questions like "what is the meaning and significance of the deity of Christ" or "explain to us the importance of the virgin birth?" I have never been so nervous entering into an interview in my life.

Ok so I wasn't asked those questions but I was still confident that they would choose other girls who were better than I was or who who were smarter than me but they picked me! I am going to be an RA!!! I am SOOOO EXCITED!

More to follow = ) after I call my sisters and half the country side letting them know = )
